BIO

Meet Josh, Principal of Larson Shores, which he co-founded with Carrie in 2007. A native of Texas, Josh earned a Bachelor in Environmental Design from Texas A&M. He received a Masters in Architecture from U. C. Berkeley, where he won the Branner Travelling Fellowship which allowed him to explore the world studying a full volume of historic and modern buildings. This travel experience inspired Josh’s ongoing fascination with foreign countries and desire to explore new places. Before founding Larson Shores with Carrie, Josh gained some of his early work training as a project estimator and project manager for Redhorse Constructors, Inc. in San Rafael.

As a licensed architect, Josh has equal skill developing the conceptual side of a project and working with crews on a job site. He understands the collaborative process of bringing a well-designed project to reality. He is known among his clients for being an empathetic listener, merging their vision with his design sensibilities into a project that all parties love.
