The Hopkins uses on of our most popular footprints (the same as The Grand) to create 439 square feet of elevated backyard living.

Its shed roof creates a clean and modern look from the exterior and creates more volume on the inside by increasing the ceiling height on one side of the ADU. We also get to use some gorgeous transom windows to bring more California sunshine into the home.

The sleek footprint can slide along the rear property line accommodating a shared courtyard with the primary house, and preserving any beloved big trees in the back.

The ADU’s bedroom is expanded to create more flexible space than our more compact designs like The Vine and Alcatraz. This is illustrated with a built in desk and exercise bike for home office, gym and flex space.
