Meet Phil, an Oklahoma native who has lived on both coasts in San Francisco, Boston, LA, New York, and back to the Bay Area in 2016. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from UC Berkeley, and a Masters in Architecture from Harvard's Graduate School of Design. He has a broad experience in design ranging from large scale civic projects, small scale furniture design and fabrication, designing stores for Diane Von Furstenberg, to working on ADUs almost exclusively for the past four years. When he's not working, he's busy hanging out with his family - his wife, daughter and two dogs, Annie and Pickleby.

I decided to fly out to New York to do a 2 week job with some friends when I was 30. I slept on the floor of the fabrication shop for two weeks and took showers at friends' apartments every few days. That project turned into a job, which allowed me to move to New York and experience the city, something I had always wanted to do but was maybe afraid to do so. I ended up meeting my wife in New York, and I look fondly on that time as one of limitless potential and energy.
